Pictured above is an infographic depicting all the record sleeve designs with the colour blue [from 1939 to April 2022] under the Blue Note Record Label. This brief was assigned from the Communication Design Studio Course from my undergrad at Emily Carr University.

Assets were built in Adobe Illustrator & exported into Photoshop to visually construct a record player. Each element plays into the other; the grooves on the record track the number of blue covers per decade. The inner ring marks the start of the label, similar to a tree. On the left is a pictographic legend of the same informatioin, referencing the original cover designs. The background is a chronological collection of the albums, gray-scaled with a halftone layer to exist as a detail. In total, there are 561 covers.

The final deliverable required the consideration of an exhibition space; mocked as a [12' x 18'] mural. 2022.
