Pictured above is an infographic depicting all the record sleeve designs with the colour blue [from 1939 to April 2022] under the Blue Note Record Label. This brief was assigned from the Communication Design Studio Course from my Undergraduate Degree at Emily Carr University.

The foreground assets were built in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop to allusively compose a record player. Each element plays into the other; the grooves on the record track the number of blue covers per decade--while the inner ring marks the start of the label, [like a tree]. On the left is a pictographic legend of the same informatioin, referencing the original cover designs. The background is a chronological collection of the albums, gray-scaled with a halftone layer to exist as a detail. In total, there are 561 covers. Each one has been counted & scored from the Blue Note archive found on their website.

The final deliverable, highlighting infographic design, additionally required the consideration of an exhibition space; mocked as a [12' x 18'] mural.
