This infographic organizes the chair archive found in the revised/updated edition of Charlotte & Peter Fiell's "1000 Chairs" [published by Taschen]. The project brief was assigned from a Communication Design course at Emily Carr University, presenting a final deliverable at 11" x 18".

As can be read in the poster's description—the chairs are ordered based on dominant frame colour, not by year. The record spans from 1808 to 2016.
