Flash-Mock [left] is inspired by the neighbourhood of East Van in Vancouver BC. Aside from the cross, designed by Ken Lum, the surrounding motifs are representative of the neighbourhood's energy--& remind me of the characters featured on Seasons of East Van, a documentation of fashion portraits in that area.
Pretty in Pink [right] is an unintentional homage to the province I was raised in, Alberta. The flash sheet is a caricature of the Wild West nature of the land, which otherwise homes The Stampede, Drumheller & the flattest of flats.
